The challenge

Construction had to happen next to a running campus, with a hard stop before the academic session and non-negotiable child-safety requirements around the site boundary.

Our solution

The site was fully hoarded with a separate contractor access away from the school gate, noisy activities were scheduled outside teaching hours, and the structure was designed with wider corridors and code-compliant stair widths for evacuation.

Execution sequence

Foundations during the summer break, structure through the session with restricted-hours working, and finishing timed to complete two weeks before the new academic year.

Result

Handed over before the session started, with zero safety incidents recorded on the shared boundary during the build.
